Quiet means more than a lack of speaking, it’s a moment of peace, where interferences of any kind is not welcome. You may think that you know how to be quiet, but there is a skill to being still. Look at the steps below and try this week to have a quiet moment.
Take a moment in your day to sit and be still.
- Cut off or silence all technology
- Dim the lights in the room you are in (or light a candle)
- Close your eyes
- Get in a comfortable position (sitting or lying down)
