It important to take time out of your day and be silent. Sometimes our day can be filled with to-do lists, errands, and enough expectations to keep your head spinning. Today, take a moment to invest in your own sanity. Take a step back, a deep breath, and for 60 seconds don’t DO anything! Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but I want you to take an entire minute for yourself. Inhale; close your eyes, and then exhale. For the 60 seconds refuse any thought, worry, or concern. If at the end of the 60 seconds you’re not smiling, it’s because you didn’t do it right… try again. There is strength in being silent and still. Peace.
